I am a licensed clinical social worker that specializes in anxiety, depression, and relationships. I am certified as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Grief Informed Professional. I work with those 18 years and older, with a particular passion for older adults. I additionally have experience in chronic illness, phase of life changes and grief. As a social worker I bring a unique integration of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused treatment while utilizing strength of the client.
I additionally like to focus on the mind body connection by bringing in relaxation and breathing during the healing process. I have a certification in meditation which has allotted me the opportunity to integrate further mindfulness during treatment. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, the necessity to understand not only the thought process but the importance of a healthy body to feel your most whole.
My professional experience has spanned over the last 19 years where I worked with a multitude of populations both in an inpatient and outpatient setting. My roles have included advocacy, case management, crisis stabilization, group therapy and individual counseling just to name a few. With such a range of roles and a deep love for helping others I believe together we can work to achieve your goals.

As a licensed professional counselor with almost 20 years of experience, my goal is to cultivate a safe and supportive space in guiding individuals through navigating life challenges. I help to identify and build upon strengths while also focusing on learning from life challenges to aid with personal growth and empowerment. Additionally, I emphasize the importance of the mind-body connection to achieve totals wellness.
My work focuses on treatment of depression, anxiety and PTSD. I integrate cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into my therapeutic approach.
I earned a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling from Clemson University. I have worked in a variety of settings including, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and community mental health in addition to private practice. I look forward to being a part of your healing journey.
